FROM FISHING NET TO TOILET CABIN

1. Collect fishing nets - prevent illegal disposal in the ocean.

We take action before discarded fishing gear ends up in the ocean, preventing its illegal disposal. To this end, we collect the discarded nets and ropes directly in the ports.

2. Upcycling - generating raw materials from waste.

We generate raw materials from waste by processing the collected fishing nets into granules. This reduces the need for new raw materials, relieves the environment and gives value to discarded fishing gear.

3. Turn old into new - the new DIXI® GREEN toilet cabin.

We process the granules into new sea-green toilet cabins at our own production facility in Germany. These consist of approx. 50% recycled material, at least 30% recycled fishing gear.
